Finally obtaining a ticket brought overwhelming joy as she stood at Merdeka Palace on the historic day.
Having only seen the flag-lowering ceremony on TV previously, Titi was thrilled to experience it in person on August 17, 2025. She chose to honor the occasion by dressing in traditional attire from West Nusa Tenggara, wearing a striking red outfit. The festive parade that followed the ceremony, leading to the National Monument, added to the grandeur of this year’s Independence Day celebration, creating lasting memories for Titi.
Amidst tears and joy, Titi offered prayers and well wishes for Indonesia’s future, expressing optimism for the country’s progress and prosperity on its 80th anniversary.
