President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia recently attended the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. The event was also attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The theme of the celebration was “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” During the event, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon highlighting the significance of love, compassion, and happiness. The Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer encouraging worshippers to protect the environment and advocate for peace. The purpose of the gathering was to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad SAW and motivate his followers to uphold environmental preservation in accordance with his teachings.
